Meet the staff members of Peterson, Mullen & Co.

Paul Mullen

Paul S. Mullen was born in England, but has lived in Canada since he was 9. He married in 1980, and graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1985. Paul’s law practice focuses on Real Estate, Corporate Commercial Transactions, Wills & Estates, and Litigation. Paul lived in Colombia for two years, and is fluent in Spanish. In addition to being a father and a grandfather, Paul enjoys playing basketball and traveling with his wife.

Doug Sefcik

Douglas M. Sefcik will be the newest, yet most experienced lawyer to work at Peterson Mullen & Co., joining us here on June 1st. Douglas graduated from the University of Alberta in 1980, and has been practicing law in South Calgary for the last 27 years. He advises clients concerning Real Estate, Wills & Estates, and Corporate Commercial Transactions. Douglas enjoys traveling with his wife of 35 years, playing golf, and has used what spare time he has left volunteering for various faith and community-based organizations for the past 25 years.

Jarett Cahoon

Jarett F. Cahoon was born and raised in South Calgary. Jarett earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho, and then went on to earn MBA and LLB degrees from the University of Alberta. He was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in June of 2011. His practice focuses primarily on Wills, Real Estate, and Litigation. Jarett enjoys hiking, playing basketball, and spending time with his wife and five children. He is fluent in Thai after having lived in Thailand for two years.

Darren Peterson

Darren has retired from the practice of law, and we wish him the best in the next stage of his life.
